Dr. Lopez Corvala is a Mexican bariatric surgeon of international fame. As the proctor for the FDA approved Inamed lap band, he trained more than 200 US bariatric surgeons at some of the US’ most important medical facilities such as UCLA. He is a professor of Obesity Surgery (Lap-Band placement) in the United States. He practices at Hospital Angeles in Tijuana, Mexico.
